About Us

_{First of all, if you made it this far; thank you. I don't think our Moms have made it here. We have been producing and selling photos and our writing for over 20 years now. Ouch. In all honesty, we are not graduates of an ivy league school in journalism, or even underwater basket weaving.}

_{No, we took the hard way. Before the internet, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, we started taking photography and writing classes via what was known back then as "mail."}

Dave, Laurie, and Mycale (Mi-kay-lee)

_{I learned good photographic techniques from reading, and most important, trial and error. I studied the masters, including but not limited to, Galen Rowell and Ansel Adams. We did our first wedding way back then too.}

_{In our years of marriage, Laurie and I have raised 3 kids. (one of each) They've all left the nest, and we couldn't be happier. Er, uh, I mean we miss our children deeply. Our home base is in the Eastern Sierras of California in a town called Bishop. It is in my opinion the most beautiful place in the world.}

_{We love doing portraits, and weddings. Each one is a different challenge, and that's what makes them special. We try to meld our artistic style with every person we 'shoot.'}

_{We are also happy to say that our list of publication credits are growing. We are in the new California 24-7 coffeetable book, we landed the 2008 cover of our local phone book, and the Bishop Chamber of Commerce is displaying our famous Bristlecone Pine image. We are on permanent display at the Ann Wong Group Real Estate office, Mountain Realty, and the Looney Bean Coffee shop here in Bishop. Stop in and buy a house, cup of coffee, or one of our images. (Or just look and see how great they look framed and matted!) We're in magazines and newspapers and books. The list keeps growing and we couldn't be happier.}

All of our images are printed with an Epson Pro 4000 printer and we are excited to announce we have recently started offering printing services for those of you who take better pictures than us.
