Crater Lake is an inactive volcano filled with water from rain and snow over many thousands of years. (and you thought your drainage problem was bad!) Located in Central Oregon, it is amazingly beautiful is both it's simplicity and complexity. If you go, plan on staying for a few days to explore the many hiking trails, or take a boat ride out to the "Fantasy Ship," a small island that looks like an old pirate sailing ship. (Is that Johnny Depp down there?) Enjoy the images, click on any for a larger view and a chance to purchase online. The RovingPhoto Team!
